Moka is a landlocked district of Mauritius in the central plateau of the island, whose capital is named Quartier Militaire Town. The Moka district is devoted largely to agriculture, but recently the district and its towns has experienced major changes and agriculture importance is decreasing.
Visit Moka’s very famous Co-ed College; called the Mahatma Gandhi Institute, the college campus is situated in a very scenic valley, and caters for grades year 6 to the end of High School. The college was created from a donation given by the Government of India, and was started as an experimental college. Over time it has became really popular, and now ranks 3rd in the whole country.
