Phnom Penh Stopover
Once known as the Pearl of Asia, Cambodia’s capital lost some of its shine during the Vietnam War under the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Today, the city is revitalised, hectic and colourful, with gleaming palaces, fascinating museums, charming boulevards, beautiful boutiques and aromatic markets to explore.

Intrepid was started in 1989 with a passion to get travellers off the beaten track in Asia, to share some of the special places we knew and introduce different cultures and ways of life.
We wanted to develop a style of travel that was all together different, where as travellers we became a part of country - and not just tourists looking in. We wanted to have fun, meet people, learn things, explore, and do stuff we could never do at home. We wanted to travel by anything and everything, and stay anywhere and everywhere! We wanted to be intrepid!
Today Intrepid has over 600 staff, over 400 different trips, over 90 different destinations and many different styles of travel.

Tucan Travel - Join us for your adventure of a lifetime.
Whether you want to travel on local transport and immerse yourself in the local culture or hightail it across the rugged countryside on a powerful, modern overland truck, or choose your own personalised itinerary, Tucan Travel has a travel style for you.
If you want to meet as many people as possible along the way, or just keep it small and intimate to give you that ‘friends on tour’ feeling, you will be able to see the world your way with our five distinctly different travel styles.
We offer travel options in Latin America, Antarctica, Asia and The Middle East for all travellers and Africa, South America and Europe specifically for 18 – 35’s.
Privately Owned & Passionate
We could tell you that we've been operating tours for 24 years and that we offer 6 styles of travel in 74 countries and this would all be true but if you're reading this profile to get a real feel of our company we 'd like to tell you what we think is important when you travel with us.

We hope that we're able to .....

.. Design an itinerary that shows you enough of a destination to experience it but not too much that you felt rushed through it.

.. That we made you feel at ease with the local culture so much that you wanted to speak to the local people and learn more about their lives.

.. That you come home feeling as if you took on a challenge everyday, whether it be as simple as speaking some Spanish in Peru or as extreme as bungee jumping off a bridge at Victoria Falls.

.. That you want to return to all of the places you visited to see more.

..And that if we've made you want to do any of the above because you travelled with us that you'll travel with us again.
