So be aware of the beggars, as they only beg from tourists. If five tourists were to give them a dollar or Euro each, they’ll have what normal honest Cubans have to work a month for. There is also an underground network of contacts called the 'casa particulares' and this is a wonderful way to save money and to meet Cuban people of all kinds. So if you decide to travel to another city, tell your host and they'll arrange another casa in the city you wish. Another travel trip to remember is that the Cuban girls are wonderful, but as a tourist you have to be very careful as Cubans are not allowed to get involved with tourists.

There is lot more to Cuba than drinking rum and doing the Rumba, rent a scooter to explore the countryside, there are some huge mango and pineapple plantations.
